Das Chaos beginnt am Morgen: der Zettel von gestern Abend... Ich habe nicht umgestellt, und offensichtlich an Bord auch nicht. Am Telefon kann man sich immer über die aktuelle Zeit informieren.

Aber wir haben Dienstag. In dem Fahrstuhl steht noch Montag.Und in dem Fahrstuhl ist es zeitlos. Warum hat man eigentlich nicht einfach eine elektronische Anzeige mit aktuellem Datum und Uhrzeit?

Nun ich wage mich heute auch mal zu Guest Services: Mein Douglas Ward soll unterschrieben werden. Dann würde mich interessieren, wie es aktuell um die Service Charge steht. In vier Jahren hat sich ja viel geändert und es gibt weder Gutscheine noch Umschläge, sondern eine Abbuchung vom Bordkonto. Und ich hätte gerne ein anderes WOW-Band, weil mich der Verschluss nervt. Aber das gibt es leider nicht für meine Sammelstation. Leider kann mir auch keiner sagen, wo die Tafel mit den Informationen für die Friends-of-Dorothy-Treffen ist.Das Warten ist nicht so schlimm. Es sind nicht alle Schalter besetzt, und so kann immer schön den Wellen zugucken. Außerdem sollte man wissen, dass man rechts schneller dran kommt als links. Rechts ist nämlich das Backoffice und wenn jemand mit einem Tablet rauskommt wird immer der erste gefragt, ob ihm weitergeholfen wird. Außerdem wechsel ich dort Geld. Karten gibt es weder für Starwater noch für Mamma Mia. Ich soll einfach versuchen so reinzukommen.

Man bat mich vor der Nachmittagsöffnung etwas früher zu kommen und mich vor Beginn der Sprechstunde bereits zu behandeln.

Ohne Karte läuft hier gar nichts. Das WOW-Band kann hier nicht genutzt werden. Ich bekomme noch eine Salbe für die nächsten Tage mit. Ich wurde auf dem OP-Tisch behandelt, so dass ich im Spiegel der OP-Lampe zugucken konnte. Wegen des Seegangs habe ich Angst, dass die Schere oder das Skapell der Schwester aus der Hand gleitet und ich als erste Leiche der QUANTUM OF THE SEAS Geschichte mache. Statt mich zu betäuben, erzählt sie ständig Witze und ich darf mich ja nicht bewegen beim Lachen. Das ist sehr gemein... und das ist eine Art Folter!Leider stellt sich heraus, dass ich noch aus den OP-Wunden heraus blute, wenn ich auf dem Bauch schlafe. Ich erkläre das Camilla, die selbstverständlich sofort das Bett für mich neu bezieht und ich klebe die Wunden mit Pflaster zu, die ich noch aus dem St. Josefskrankenhaus in Heidelberg mitgenommen habe.

Da war die Eislaufbahn auf der NAVIGATOR OF THE SEAS 2009 schon besser, weil es dort auch Eislaufshows gab, an denen Ältere ihre Freude hatten. Aber meine Eltern machen weder beim Zirkus mit, noch fahren sie AutoScooter. Die sind nur abends verfügbar, wenn die meisten beim Abendessen sitzen. Tagsüber sehen wir sie nie. Das two 70° ist tagsüber quasi das Wohnzimmer der Passagiere. Besonders schön ist der Verbindungsgang auf Deck 5 zum hinteren Teil des Schiffes. So eine Oase der Ruhe.

Bisher kenne ich allerdings nicht spezielle Dosen für die Luft- und Seefahrt. Es gibt nur eine Suppe im American Icon: New England Clam Chowder. Allerdings sowohl mittags als auch abends. Das Hähnchen mit Waffeln wurde wohl bis zum Ende unserer Reise wieder abgeschafft, weil wohl die Waffeln als Beilage nicht so gut ankamen. Ich habe mir die Beeren von dem French Toast runtergekratzt. Insgesamt bekommt mir leider das Essen hier nicht so gut.Man kann sich in der Kabine am Bildschirm alle Belege ansehen. So sehe ich auch, dass sie für die Sojamilch 0,50 USD extra berechnet haben. 15% auf 4,00 USD = 0,60 USD und ich habe noch 1,00 USD extra gegeben.

They notice, however, that it did not help that they popped up everything in volume, because I eat very little. So my fillet course was served in a bowl, in which a larger egg would fit. I thought it was great how they meet my requirements. In the meantime we got visitors. Like from Captain Srecko Ban. Since he did not know us personally, he ignored us, but all the others who were probably right loyal guests of Royal Caribbean. That annoyed my dad, but I did not know that until he told me a few days later. Auf jeden Fall wird man aus dem Eingangsbereich des Chops Grille weggejagt, wenn man zu früh kommt. Für 85,00 USD (2014) darf man keinesfalls erwarten, dass man so behandelt wird, wie bei Princess, Carnival oder Norwegian. Man darf auch nicht mehr erwarten, dass beim Chef's Table der Chef die ganze Zeit dabei ist, man ein gemeinsames Foto, eine Schürze oder ein signiertes Kochbuch bekommt. Das gibt nur bei den anderen. Ich hatte im Vorfeld mein Problem besprochen und man versprach mir, dass ich mit vollem Vergnügen teilnehmen kann. Aber direkt beim Willkommens-Champagner muss ich aussteigen. Ich bekomme den ganzen Abend Cranberry-Saft-Schorle statt Wein. Ein Sommelier (gemeinsam mit einem weiteren Helfer) betreut uns den ganzen Abend in einem Nebenzimmer des Chops Grille. Mein Salat-Gang, mein Hummer-Gang, mein Pasta-Gang und mein Filet-Gang werden passiert. Der Salatgang schmeckt wie eine tolle Cocktailsauce. Die Suppe ist nicht so ganz meins. Der Hummer-Gang schmeckt nach Baby-Gourmet-Brei und meine Mutter meint, dass das sogar besser schmeckte, als der Hummer selbst, den sie hatten. Der war auf jeden Fall um klassen besser als am Vorabend im Grande. Für mich wird nämlich alles neu abgeschmeckt. So erfahren wir, dass der Pasta-Teig von Jamie's Oliver Italian kommt. Das schmeckt auch richtig gut. Sie merken allerdings, dass es nichts bringt, dass sie mir alles vom Volumen her vergrößern, da ich nur sehr wenig esse. So wird mein Filet-Gang in einer Schale serviert, in der ein größeres Ei reinpassen würde. Ich finde es klasse, wie sie mir entgegenkommen. Zwischenzeitlich bekommen wir Besuch. U. a. vom Kapitän Srecko Ban. Da er uns nicht kennt, aber alle anderen, die wohl echte Stammgäste von Royal Caribbean sind, werden wir ignoriert. Darüber ärgert sich mein Vater, aber das erfahre ich erst einige Tage später. Es finden ein paar nette Gespräche statt, allerdings ist es so: die anderen kennen wohl keine anderen Gesellschaften als Royal Caribbean und können daher so meine Beobachtungen, die ich in Vergleich zu den anderen sehe, nicht nachvollziehen. Auch als ich später nachfrage, warum es Chef's Table heißt, wenn kein Chef dabei ist, kommt der zuständige Chef Daniel Trujillo. So entstehen doch noch ein paar Bilder von der Gruppe mit dem Chef. Zu den Gängen wurden die passenden Weine serviert. Meine Eltern bekommen Wasser, weil sie ja auch keinen Wein trinken. Der Abend endet dann später wieder in der Schooner Bar, in der zwischenzeitlich eine Art Sing-A-Long stattfindet.Es gibt für die Leistung vom Sommelier Momcilo Zdravkovic und des Galley-Teams ein sehr hohes Trinkgeld. Das hat bislang nur eine einzelne Kellnerin bekommen, weil sie zwei Stunden vor ihrem eigentlichen Schichtbeginn gekommen ist, um meinem Wunsch zu folgen, von ihr bedient zu werden. Aber er hat eine tolle Leistung erbracht und ich bin dem Galley-Team unter Daniel Trujillo dankbar, dass ich an diesem Abend alles genießen konnte, auch wenn ich nicht die von früher gewohnten Mengen, zu mir nehmen konnte. Ein ganz toller Abend!!!
There was a very big tip for the performance of sommelier Momcilo Zdravkovic and the galley team. So far only one waitress got that amount before because she arrived two hours before the actual start of the shift to honor my request to be served by her. But he did a great job, and I was grateful to the Galley team under Daniel Trujillo for enjoying everything this evening, even though I could not eat the quantities I used to.
